Dr. Sabine Richter

Dr. Sabine Richter is a research associate and Lecturer with Special Responsibilities in the group. She teaches Sachunterricht from bachelor to master level, supervises the long-term teaching practicum (GHR 300) and coordinates the subject Sachunterricht.

She considers a sound understanding of scientific contexts, together with ESD, a basis for a society able to face the future, and develops learning formats and projects that promote ESD on this basis. She is particularly interested in integrating digital technologies into teaching to make learning more interactive.

Before her work in Sachunterricht at Leuphana, she was a freelance instructor in science education for children aged 4 to 12 and a trainer for pedagogical professionals. She studied chemistry at TU Darmstadt and graduated as a chemical engineer.
