Marie Görsmann

Marie Görsmann is a student researcher in the project Leaders of Learner Empowerment (LoLE) and studies Teaching and Learning (B.A.) with a focus on German and General Studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg.

In LoLE she works on approaches to strengthening learners within education for sustainable development, in particular participatory school development and the whole school approach. She is interested in how teaching can go beyond the transmission of knowledge and how children can be supported early on in understanding, questioning and shaping their world.

She sees ESD as a way to make questions about the future tangible, broaden perspectives and promote systems thinking.
