Karoline Pöggel

Karoline Pöggel is an external PhD candidate in the Sustainability Education Research Group (SERG) and has worked in the project “Processes for Sustainability Transformation” at Leuphana University Lüneburg.

Her project “Local Food Systems in/for Transition” looks at group processes in local food initiatives as part of a transformation towards sustainability and starts from the idea that food creates identity.

With a background in environmental communication, her research interests are good food, the communication of sustainability and social processes. Combining these, she explores alternative ways of communicating and teaching science and sustainability.
