Filip Dzopa is studying Sustainability Science: Governance (M.A.) at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His bachelor's degree in International Political Management at the University of Bremen laid the foundation for his key areas of interest: sustainability, workers' interests, and the role of trade unions and other employee representative bodies in Europe's economic transformation process.

These interests are also reflected in his research to date. In his publication Starke Basis, starkes Bündnis? (co-authored with J. von Minden, published 2025 in the edited volume Von Freiwilligkeit zur Verpflichtung, Springer VS), he examines the challenges faced by civil society actors in implementing the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). The study combines political science analysis with a practice-oriented perspective on European regulatory processes.

Filip Dzopa brings an interdisciplinary approach to his work and is particularly interested in the intersections of governance, workers' rights, and sustainable economic policy. His commitment is to the question of how transformation processes can be shaped more equitably and in closer alignment with the interests of workers.
