Since 2021, I have been a Lecturer with Special Responsibilities (LfbA) in the research group, and prior to that I was already working in the field of ESD & Sachunterricht (primary science and social studies) from 2015 onwards as a research associate and visiting lecturer. In teacher education for the subject Sachunterricht, I design and teach courses in the BA Teaching and Learning as well as in the MEd Primary School Teaching programme, and I supervise and assess the associated coursework and final theses (BA/MEd). I also accompany and support student teachers during their long-term teaching practicum (GHR 300) in the MEd Primary School Teaching programme. My seminars cover a broad spectrum, ranging from foundational subject and subject-didactic introductions to Sachunterricht through to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)/Global Learning and Qualitative Research. The focus is on multi-perspectival Sachunterricht with an emphasis on social sciences. My particular interests lie in the area of Global Learning, especially political and economic education (e.g. on topics such as consumption and nutrition), as well as sexuality education. In my courses, I offer diverse, discrimination-sensitive, action- and reflection-oriented formats in terms of both content and methodology.

After completing my studies in environmental sciences, I worked, among other things, in transdisciplinary projects and teaching in the Department of Vocational and Business Education/Didactics of Economics at Leuphana University, as well as in extra-university projects in the fields of Global Learning, Fair Trade, and sustainable nutrition.
